- 1/4 cup raw almonds, soaked overnight, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup water
- 3 pitted dates
- 3 oranges
- 1/3 cup chia seeds
- Place almonds and water in high powered blender and blend until well blended. Strain with a nut bag or very fine strainer.
- Place almond milk back in blender with dates and blend until smooth. Zest 1 orange and add the zest to the blender. Peel and section the zested orange and set aside for later. Juice the remaining 2 oranges and add the juice to the blender. pulse to combine.
- Add chia seeds and stir. Let set for 20 minutes. Stir in orange sections. Makes 2 servings
