Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded medium cheddar cheese
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Blend in the flour, salt and pepper. When the mixture is bubbly, quickly add the milk. Cook, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
- Remove from heat and add cheese, stirring until smooth.
